The all-new Prius v is powered by a 1.8-liter DOHC engine with VVT-i, 98 horsepower, and electronically controlled continuously variable transmission. Each model is equipped with a nickel-metal hydride battery pack. The Motor Generator Two system regenerates energy every time you brake to increase your efficiency. Standard features include independent MacPherson strut suspension, electric power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering, and front power-assisted ventilated disc brakes.
